Greetings,

Creative+Storytelling.jpg

I hope this newsletter finds you and your family safe and healthy. We at Arts for Humanity! hope to help ease the strain of these challenging times by providing creative opportunities that spark the imagination and soothe the soul. Those of you that know us know we believe the arts play a powerful role in the healing of our communities and ourselves.

Arts for Humanity! understands that COVID-19 continues to affect our local non-profits and services for youth, resulting in on-site, in-person programs being temporarily closed. We have launched a new program called "Have You Had Your Art Today?" offering virtual opportunities that bring the creative arts directly to the lives of our program participants and to our community members at large!

"Have You Had Your Art Today?" will provide art tutorials, inspirational performances, heartwarming stories, inspiring talks, and classes in poetry, dance, and yoga, sharing the power and healing nature of the arts! We are excited about this new program, and we hope it brings you inspiration and solace.

"Have You Had Your Art Today?" is here to support the growth and spirit of our community members. Please enjoy the well-researched, curated resources on our Twitter, and Facebook pages.

As you might imagine, this year has been particularly challenging. Support is much needed to help us provide creative opportunities that contribute to the healing of our community.

On behalf of everyone at Arts for Humanity! we wish you and your families the very best for a safe & healthy holiday season.

With Gratitude,

Karsen Lee Gould

Art and love are man’s greatest gifts to himself; and there can be no art without love. Art is always the making of the soul …

Live at Hampshire County Prison the "Young at Heart" choir is an inspiring and sweet reminder that we are all "young at heart."

Two or three things I know for sure, and one of them is that to go on living I have to tell stories, that stories are the one sure way I know to touch the heart and change the world.
