Music Alive Program (MAP)

Thanks to the generous support of the Stephanie Lancaster Foundation Arts for Humanity! has partnered withlocal musicians and multiple organizations to share the gift of music to seniors and youth. Our musical performances scheduled throughout the holiday season are bringing holiday joy to the residents of low-income senior living centers, as well as at-risk youth at Boys and Girls Club.

Special thanks to our guitarist Gem Fiedtkou, pianist Charlie Tetoni, and pianist Bryan Tari for sharing their talents and inspiring their audiences through music!

Instrument Petting Zoo
Saturday, May 13 11am-12 pm, Westside Boys and Girls Club

We are thrilled to announce this exciting event called “Instrument Petting Zoo.” Children will have the chance to have hands-on fun with instruments and become more familiar with musical instruments they see professionally played on stage. It’s a fun and educational program that teaches how vibrations become sound, and sound becomes music. This Instrument Petting Zoo event will be co-presented by Cal Poly’s honorary band fraternity, Iota Pi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi and Arts for Humanity!.

This project is funded in part by the Organizational Development Grant Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission and the Squire Foundation.
